Nestled on the stunning coastline near Maldon in Essex on the banks of the Blackwater Estuary, The Osea View Café is relaunching with a fresh new look and feel. Overseen by Osea’s directors, Janie and Wilf Robinson, the café is returning to its roots under their creative vision. Janie, an acclaimed interior designer, local artist, and the mastermind behind the iconic Osea Beach Huts, brings her passion and flair back to the café, which she originally founded 10 years ago. Wilf, a devoted foodie, ensures the new menu reflects their love of local and seasonal ingredients, including foraged produce and the renowned Maldon Oysters.

Now reimagined as a destination bistro-style café, The Osea View Café boasts what many acclaim as “the BEST view in Essex,” offering breathtaking panoramas of the East. Anglian coastline. Visitors can relax and enjoy an elevated dining experience, whether they’re coastal walkers, families seeking a special outing, or dog owners making the most of the café’s extra dog-friendly ethos. With children and dogs welcome to play on the nearby beach, it’s a perfect escape for all.

The café’s talented new catering team – also behind the nearby Vaulty Manor events and wedding venue – brings culinary excellence to this beloved seaside spot. The café is open daily from 8.30am to 4pm and the breakfast menu is available all day, making it perfect for early risers or late brunchers with lunch served from 12 noon.
SUMMER SHARING PLATTERS AT THE OSEA VIEW (1st July – 31st August)
Enjoy sharing platters for two. Choose from Seafood, Meat, Veg or a Mixed Mezze – each served with local sourdough and bursting with bold, fresh flavours. Available 12 noon – 5pm. Relax and enjoy summer afternoons on the Blackwater Estuary.
