The Osea View Sauna
Right by the beach, just outside The Osea View Café, a brand new sauna has arrived on this beautiful stretch of the Saltmarsh Coast. It is a little pocket of wellness by the water where warmth meets sea air, inviting you to slow down, breathe deeply and let the world soften around the edges.
Perfect for small groups, the sauna offers an intimate, private experience to enjoy with friends or family. Step inside for heat, peace and clarity. Step outside for wide skies, tidal views and, if the tide allows, a refreshing dip in the estuary.
Once your session comes to an end, The Osea View Café is only a few steps away. Warm up or cool down with a refreshing drink, a rich hot chocolate, or linger a little longer over brunch or lunch while taking in the views across the water. It is the perfect way to extend your coastal wellness escape.

House Rules & Sauna Etiquette
To keep things safe, comfortable and fair for everyone:
- Showering before entering the sauna is mandatory.
- Always sit on a towel inside the sauna – do not sit directly on the wooden benches.
- No day-clothes or underwear inside – swimwear only.
- Remove metallic jewellery or items with metal fastenings (e.g. metal-clasp swimsuits) to avoid burns.
- Pour water onto stones slowly – if using communal sauna, check with others first before adding water to generate steam.
- No electronics or glass bottles into the sauna.
- Stay hydrated. Listen to your body. If you feel dizzy, unwell, or overheated – exit immediately and cool down.
- Persons under 16 years of age are not permitted to use the sauna.
- Maximum recommended session time is 15–20 minutes.

USE OF THIS FACILITY IS AT YOUR OWN RISK
Management accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse of the sauna or failure to comply with these regulations. Failure to comply may result in removal from the facility.
Tides at Osea
Please note that The Osea View Café sits on a tidal estuary. Water levels change dramatically throughout the day, so if you plan to swim or dip after your sauna session, please check the tide timetable in advance. Access to the water may vary depending on the tide, and at certain times swimming is not possible or safe. Always assess conditions carefully before entering the estuary.

Useful Tips
Before You Arrive
- Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your session to check in, change and get settled. This helps everything run smoothly and ensures your session starts on time.
- We recommend arriving in your swimwear where possible. This saves time and allows you to enjoy the full hour in the sauna.
- If you have any health concerns such as heart conditions, blood pressure issues or pregnancy, please let us know at the time of booking so we can advise you appropriately. Sauna heat is not suitable for everyone.
- Please ensure the waiver form is completed before your visit. We are unable to allow entry without this being filled in and it helps you make the most of your sauna time.
What to Expect During & After Your Sauna
- The sauna will be wood-fired / heated to a typical sauna-heat range (expect ~ 70–95 °C — though actual temperature will vary).
- After your session: take time to cool down, hydrate, dry off, change. Leave the sauna promptly at session end so cleaning / next booking can proceed.
